We have two Purebred Clydesdale fillies who will be registered and microchipped with the Clydesdale Society upon sale. These fillies are out of exceptional mares who have been extensively shown, ridden worked in harness, done 2 and 3 day treks, been to the beach, done log skidding, hay making, ploughing competitions, shows and so much more. Just way too much to mention. The mares have wonderful natures and were exceptionally easy to bring into work and dad has also done alot of chain work and been ridden around by kids and shown. You will not get foals of this quality on the market often.
These foals will absolutely excel under saddle, in harness, and should be used for breeding due to their quality. They are some of the nicest foals we have produced in a very long time however I have 4 foals due next season and I need to be realistic.
These foals will be ready to go on weaning and will come lightly handled but mostly untouched. You can see some of the work we have done with Millie and Miri in the videos below.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone as finding fillies of this quality is almost impossible.
First Foal is Sabella Madeline (Millie)DOB 18th Oct, 2024 $10,000 plus gst
Dam is Blackwood Morgan. Standing at 16.1hh. Morgan has been worked, ridden and shown for most of her life. She works in chain, under saddle, been shown in hand, used to make hay, done extensive sledge work, been to shows and won many ribbons in hand, under saddle and in harness. She is an exceptional mare in every way. She is a dark bay mare and I believe her filly Millie will be dark like her. Over all Morgan is an exceptional work horse who is completely unflappable in every way and Millie will be just like her and excell in any dicipline.
Sire is Mac. He is an 18.1hh stallion I hand serve with. He has an exceptional brain in terms of working in harness. He is totally unphased by anything and has been worked in chains in a team and on his own. He has brought his size and brain through in his foals.
Macs sire needs absolutely no introduction.
Mac’s sire is the famous Sugar Bush Hill Phoenix. SBH Phoenix is undoubtedly one of the best Clydesdale stallions in the world.
He was bred by Sugar Bush Hill Clydesdales and purchased by Wismer Clydes of Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada in 1999. He was the Junior Champion Stallion at the US National Clydesdale Show as a yearling and he was undefeated at all major shows as a three year old. He won over 25 Champion and Reserve Champion titles throughout his show career in addition to being a 3 time All-American and All-Canadian winner. These classes had a minimum of 14 stallions, Phoenix retired from showing in 2004 and has sired 19 All-American and Reserve All-American winners and has offspring in America, Canada, Scotland, Germany and now New Zealand, grand offspring are being successful in the show ring in America Canada and Scotland, he stood at stud Budweiser Clydesdales for a season. He was lucky to be chosen as a Breyer horse model! He stood at 18.1hh. He was known for his incredible nature and quality and Mac has really had that come through in him.
Millie has shown her mothers exceptional nature right from the start. Millie has been brought in a few times and been handled done some tying up work, picking up of the feet etc so is lightly handled. She will be ready to go at weaning and we will not be doing any more work with her so she will be ready to go as lightly handled. Millie shows she has a very good brain and would excel at working in harness and under saddle as she is very unflappable like her mother. I really like this filly and it is a hard decision to sell her as she will be a fabulous horse.

View our life on the farm through our social media accounts...

I know I keep talking about it but the nature on our pups really is absolutely amazing. This is one of our pups during our last photo shoot and our Bull (who was very keen to get in on the shoot) kept coming over to be nosey about what we were doing and our beautiful little pup wasn't phased at all. We do alot of work with our pups from 4 weeks of age and they really get to see alot until they go to their new homes so they are pretty used to anything, however we also look at nature on our dogs and this absolutely comes through in our pups nature and how they handle things. I'm incredibly proud of our dogs and this was such a great moment to catch 🥰 #sabellafarms #sabellapups #sabellagermanshepherds #germanshepherds #sabellafamily #germanshepherdpup
