Breeding German Shepherds and Clydesdales in King Country New Zealand

This wonderful family got one of our black pups a while back and then decided one wasn't enough not long after and came back and got a white one! (That happens alot, our dogs are very addictive 💕) They are both now living their best lives!! One is a little weird the other isn't. 😂 Like most of our babies you either get one or the other 😂😂😂😂 either way they are super entertaining 😂 #sabellapups #sabellafamily #sabellafarms #sabellagermanshepherds

Following up from our last video of our available Clydesdale foals this season is beautiful Sterling. She is a black Clydesdale filly who will be available at weaning. Black fillies are very hard to find especially out of such an exceptional mare and stallion. She is a very sweet, kind, curious girl who will be wonderful at anything you asked of her. Please get in touch if you would like to snap her up. #sabellafarms #sabellaclydesdales #Clydesdales

Our beautiful Sabella Rosie. Many of you have shared our journey right from the beginning serving our mares over a year ago (Which went viral on Tik Tok 👀) to the stressful and exhausting foaling end of last year which resulted in 2 x bay colts, 1 x bay filly and 1 x black filly. This is an exceptional result and really helps this breed survive and carry on as this breed is on the brink of being classed as extinct. There were only 44 Clydesdale foals due In New Zealand this past spring/summer and 4 of them are from here, really highlighting the importance of people being able to access these beautiful breeds and to keep this breed going. So now its time to start looking for amazing people who will hopefully breed, work, ride and enjoy these amazing horses and keep this breed alive for many years to come. This is Rosie she is out of a huge black mare 18hh and by our bay stallion Mac (You can see lots about him on our website www.sabellafarms.co.nz) Mac also stands at 18hh making this one of the largest fillies we have ever produced in my 20 years of breeding Clydesdales. She is the sweetest girl who loves scratches, will whinny when she sees you and just loves people and anything interesting in general. Her parents have exceptional brains making her a very easy foal to grow into under saddle and harness work a breeze. She is exactly the kind of nature we look to produce in a working horse and she is really very very special. She will excel at anything and will be a very special horse for someone. Rosie will be registered with the Clydesdale Society. #sabellafarms #sabellaclydesdales

Latest update on our bull. We rounded him up but as soon as we took away his ladies he got a bit upset so we brought them all back to stay with him until he went to the sales 🥰 #farmlife #sabellafarms
