Sabella farms is run by Bryce McKinley and Erin Miller based in the mighty King Country on 100 acres our focus is on the Clydesdale breed in New Zealand and around the world as the breed is on the decline and on the verge of being classified as endangered or extinct.
We are also very passionate about breeding extremely well tested, flat backed, wonderful natured, trainable family German Shepherds. Our goal is to provide loving and healthy dogs to family's and people looking for a special loyal trainable dog.
We take great pride our breeding program and our shepherds are known for their flat back and really trainable nature which sets our dogs apart from other breeders.
Aside from our strict testing, we have a very strong focus on a flat back, lovely nature, size and coat. In the past year we have had 4 of our pups exported over seas to date. Some people wait years for one of our pups and our litters often sell out before they are born.

Once you've decided you'd like one of our pups, we'll ask you to pay a non - refundable deposit.
This is your confirmation that you will receive a puppy from us.

Today something that I have been missing so much in my life after the loss of 2 of my babies to old age several months ago, has arrived and is bringing some much needed love to me. I'm so excited to finally have him with me and to share more of him with all of you! Because honestly he is just absolutely gorgeous in every way and my heart is so fully of joy and happiness. Just another morning of fun here on the farm. Power went out at 7am so had to fire up the generator and wait for them to come and fix it. Turns out the fuse on our pole and the one in the paddock across from us blew. No idea why but only affected us so super great way to start the day waiting for hours to get it all sorted! But we are good to go now and the guy sorted it fast! #farmlife #sabellafarms

Erin was amazing when I first spoke to her. I had spoken to a couple of breeders previously but knew immediately that Erin was the breeder for us. We felt so comfortable that we ended up getting two puppies from her instead of just one! You can tell straight away that Erin absolutely loves her dogs, is super knowledgeable, completely honest and just wants the best for her dogs.
Fudge and Kev are now 4.5 months old and are just the most amazing dogs. They both toilet trained within the first week of having them and it is crazy how fast they pick up commands. They fitted into the family perfectly, love the kids and adore our older dog without overwhelming him. We often take them to the beach in Raglan and it's incredible that even off leash they are constantly checking in where the kids and I are and never roam far away.
We are always getting comments on how beautiful and well-behaved they both are. As much as I'd love to take the credit for their behaviour, this definitely shows the way they've been bred.
