Sabella farms is run by Bryce McKinley and Erin Miller. Based in King Country our focus is on the Clydesdale breed in New Zealand and around the world as the breed is on the decline and on the verge of being classified as endangered or extinct.

We are very passionate about breeding extremely well tested, flat backed, wonderful natured, trainable German Shepherds. Our goal is to provide loving and healthy animals to family's and people looking for a special loyal trainable dog.

We take great pride our breeding program and our shepherds are know for their flat back and really trainable nature which sets our dogs apart from other breeders.

We believe that the German Shepherd and Clydesdale breeds are truely special and we are honoured to be able to share our babies with your family and your life.

Breeding well tested, excellent natured Shepherds is our goal.

​All of our Shepherds are hip and elbow scored and comprehensivley DNA tested.​
​
From there our dogs are certified to be bred from by a vet. We do all we can to produce healthy, well natured dogs.
​
We also look at nature, flat back, trainability and so much more in producing wonderful all around dogs that do well in a range of families and homes.
Breeding registered Clydesdales and standing Waihapa Phoenix’s Mackillop at stud AKA Mac.
Macs breeding is a huge asset to New Zealand. Macs sire was ranked number one in the world many times and has produced of the best Clydesdales the world have ever seen. Mac is a very large boy which will add size and substance to a mare.

Working heavy horses and farming has been in Erin’s family for over 100 years in Canada and remains a huge passion. As the Clydesdale breed is on the verge of being classified as endangered its critical to get foals on the ground to registered mares to ensure the breeds established survival.
